Integrating datetime picker with input element

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for guidance on integrating the ix-datetime-picker with an input element. Essentially, I’d like to be able to open the picker upon clicking the input and then select the date, similar to how the Angular Material date picker functions.

I’ve searched for examples or documentation on this matter but haven’t found any. Any leads or insights would be greatly appreciated.

The integration of a date/time picker into an input field is an already known requirement for the Siemens Industrial Experience Design System. An extension will be provided in one of the upcoming releases.
